what to do about a crazy landlady (who works for cendant car rental)

i am poor and moved into a room in a house that turned out to be illegally converted. i reported my landlady for this when i learned it and all the guys on the second floor have to move out (it looks as if she has to take me to court to "remove" me from the building since i am legal).
she hates me bacuse i totally ruined her illegal and dangerous scheme to defraud poor folks out of money. these rooms were small and dangerous and she was getting $500 per month for each of them. she had 7 people crammed into one second floor area. i think 2 or 3 were illegal aliens (she once asked me whether i knew anyone who would marry one of the guys to allow him to stay in the country).
this woman owns a house in white plains but sleeps in the basement of the house i'm in just because she wants to provoke some kind of confrontation with me. she HATES me. if i go to the bathroom at 2am, i hear her running up the stairs and i have to hurry back to my room. she has n
