Hello, my name is Brook Martinez and I play and teach the drum set. I've been playing drums for fifteen years and have been teaching privately for four. I graduated in 2001 from NYU with a bachelor in music (concentration in jazz/contemporary music studies). As an active performer here in the city, I play with several different ensembles ranging from rock, jazz, world music, electronic, new improvisational music, and more. (Current bands include The Barbarians, Barky!, Brook's Qawwali Party, The Dolomites, Hahahaes, and Robin Aigner). I have several students and enjoy working with ALL AGES and LEVELS.
