Summary of job description and qualifications:
*Catalogue and research paintings and/or prints and upload for online auction using an online inventory software. Communicate with clients and make sales.
*We are looking for candidates with a minimum of a B.A. degree but preference will be given to candidates with a M.A. or a certificate in fine arts and antiques appraising.
*Candidates should have very strong computer skills and a background in art history. Some knowledge in the decorative arts is also desirable.
*This is a full-time position in Brooklyn, New York. Business hours are Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
