CAD Skills -- Teach Them to Me
(available in:
Brooklyn)
Date: Apr 7, 2005 13:13:29 PM CST
I am an artist working in a medium that could greatly benefit from CAD skills. To date I have been using graph paper, a ruler, a calculator, pencil and paper. I have very specific needs. I need to be able to create semi-complex solids (for example, a fish) life sized, and then take regular horizontal slices (kind of like a CAT scan) and print those life sized slices out. I also need to be able to introduce various color schemes and patterns, and, once a particular shape is established, play around with colors and patterns and the shape and size.
Your job: teach me how to do this. I am very bright, a quick learner, and reasonably comfortable with computers, but have never worked with any graphics program of any kinds. I will need your best estimate up front how many hours of training it will require (understanding that it is only an estimate).
Job location is 213 Carroll Street, Brooklyn, NY
Compensation: You tell me -- what is your hourl
