The latest on Winter is that he is at the vet's being treated for his sores. They also have received a lot of offers for adoption and are reviewing them. He should be in a new home soon. But if you are still interested, I would contact them anyhow using the email in the separate post.
I the case of Winter, his disorder is clearly related to the stress of being confined and with proper homing and love could be reversed.
