Major Investment Bank, seeks a Business Analyst to join their Market Risk team. This team is responsible for calculating the daily Value at Risk (VaR) and other risk measures and supports the Global Risk Management Group. This is a great opportunity to gain direct exposure to risk management in this high profile position.
The ideal candidate will currently be a Business Analyst at an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund or similar financial company working within the Market Risk group. Strong Fixed Income knowledge is essential with expertise in at least 1 or 2 products with Commodities or Credit Derivatives being a major advantage. Your experience should also include business modelling, requirements and functional documentation, data requirements and testing. UML or similar modeling experience is required along with very strong SQL querying skills. Full Software Development Life Cycle experience is mandatory including User Acceptance Testing. This position will include working with the QA team to define use cases and test cases. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, are a must as you will be liasing with all levels of management.
