Primedia Consumer Magazines is looking for an Associate Editor to join our Power & Motor Yacht publication.

Job Description-Associate Editor, Power & Motoryacht

Reports to: Editor In-Chief

Responsibilities:
Edit features and columns toward the successful close of Power & Motor Yacht each month
Write monthly features/columns as assigned
Attend at least 3-4 boat shows and industry events during the year
Travel 20-40% to attend boat testing and write features and articles for the next issue

Skill Requirements:
Self-starter/motivated/high energy
2-4 years publishing experience (editorial/writing)
Bachelors degree or higher
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
Experience in and knowledge of power boats
A writing and editing test will be administered
