I have the following none working laptops 4 parts:

Compaq Presario 1245 amd 333mhz
monitor comes on for awhile then turns to light not getting anything could be inverter board
keyboard does not work
does work with ps/2 keyboard and external monitor

Compaq Presario 1700 p3 600mhz
lcd was pulled back breaking plastic off from hinges
also lcd cable needs to be replaced as it was ripped near the hinges
lcd screen itself is fine no dead pix and works

Compaq Presario 700 amd 1.2ghz
fried mother board
