The studio is located in the heart of the Long Island City arts district. It is a block away from the Court House Square subway stop (one subway stop from Manhattan on the E, V, G & 7 subway lines) and right around the corner from PS1. So it's safe & convenient.
The well-kept, sun-filled space is on a floor with other artist's studios in a converted warehouse building with 17-foot ceilings and giant windows. Sunlight pours in. There are clean bathrooms, utility sinks and a giant freight elevator.
You get 250 square feet and access to the large common areas for hanging work and having shows. Studio mate is a respectful female artist with an MFA.
