NATURE OF THE WORK
An employee in this position performs a variety of activities related to the dispatching and assignment of floor care jobs. This includes: issuance of complete work order tickets (WOT), issuing maps and directions to the dispatched teams, issuing petty cash to drivers as per company policies, signing out all equipment and supplies, including vehicles to assigned team leaders and drivers, inspecting and signing back in equipment and supplies and collecting receipts. This employee exercises considerable judgment in understanding the individual work order tickets, assigns appropriate personnel and equipment, and verifies the schedule on a daily basis. An employee in this position will take all of the information, WOT and schedules left by the daytime dispatcher, and load each vehicle with the equipment and supplies as required for each job to be assigned to the teams.
