This rare and valuable white marble furniture from India consists of two lots that can be bought together or separately. All are late 18th century and come from Agra, home of the Taj Mahal. They are made in exactly the same style as the Taj Mahal, with inlay work of semi-precious stones. All of the furniture comes from the collection of the Maharajah of Lucknow. I purchased them several years ago from an old family friend who is a reputable antiques wholesaler in Delhi. His grandfather started the business and he has 200 men scouring the country buying from maharajahs and landed gentry. I am moving from a house to an apartment and no longer have the space. This is once in a lifetime opportunity to purchase these museum-quality pieces at wholesale pricing.
