Our Farm Getaway Cottage is a great way to "get away" from it all, without going too far. We are under two hours from NY City, with bus and train service available if you don't drive.
We are willing to barter for two nights here, in exchange for whatever you might offer. Our interests include: Tools, electronics, building materials and skilled labor of many types.
Our cozy Farm Cottage has a large bedroom, full kitchen, full bath and large living room with 8 ft windows overlooking the farm.
Wake to roosters crowing and steal some eggs from the henhouse for breakfast. Meet our nearly 80 animals, all roaming free here on our 10 acres. Take a hike in the forest, put a small boat in the lake, shop our local stores, or explore the beautiful scenery of the Southern Catskills.
We can even saddle up the horses and go for a ride in the woods, or, if its windy, we'll put our sailboat into the lake, to experience the environmentally friendly travel of c
