Karen trained at Rhode Island School of Design, and received her BFA, while having studied with some of the best contemporary Fine Art and Commercial Photographers...
Wise's wedding photojournalism has been internationally published and her photos have been featured in top magazines such as The Knot Weddings NY, Martha Stewart Weddings, Bride, Child, Time Out New York, The New York Post and The Boston Globe.
Karen uses *Medium Format cameras (*Medium Format film is bigger film and more detailed, compared to 35mm) yet she can also scan the negatives to provide you with digital imagery of all of your pictures. Karen brings an assistant to your wedding who doubles as a second shooter so no guest is left unphotographed and no moment lost forever...The negatives are also yours to keep!
