I need a lawyer!

Hi, my roommates and I need a good litigation lawyer to help us file suit against our ex-roommate who owes each of us $1000, each, and our landlords more than $7000. It would be about 6 or 7 of us filing charges against him. We plan on filing a police report. He basically fled the state, and has not returned any one of our phone calls. He has written us bad checks and defaulted on the lease. We need a lawyer who would be willing to work on a contingency basis...We have a very strong case, but, of course, not a lot of money, since we've had to sign a new lease and, having lost our security deposit, have to pay a new one.
