We are a small Children's Book Publisher located in Linden, NJ. We have 3 line's of books - Better than Broccoli/Imagination Generation/Son Schein Press. We are looking for a p/t freelance Graphic Designer to work on site. The person applying for this job should have the ability to draw and be creative. The position will start off Part Time about 20 hours a week and may build up to Full Time to Permenant. I'm looking for someone that would be able to handle the challenge of creating anywhere from a coloring book cover to a dozen spreads worth of artwork. We need a designer with a whimsical style that would be loved by children ages 0-6. The style should be bright, fun, and welcoming. We look to turn our projects around quickly. Must work within tight deadlines. Must maintain a consistent style from start to finish. Please forward a PDF or a weblink, with samples and a resume.
