JOB SUMMARY
Plans and executes transdermal drug product projects relating to the characterization, scale-up and validation activities for pharmaceutical transdermal products from laboratory stage to commercial product stage. Participates in the development of backing, liners, and other films to meet MPD customer specifications. Performs job functions in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. Ensures compliance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Responsible for the development of multiple transdermal projects including intermediates and drug products, transdermal components, and Medical Products Division customer and proprietary projects such as wound care devices.
