Mortgage Lender seeks Compliance Officer

We are a rapidly growing, national, mortgage lender based in White Plains, NY. We are seeking a bright candidate for training to become a compliance officer. The position is currently held by a first year attorney returning to school.
The job requires a detail orientated individual with excellent people skills. Consistency and dependability are key components. No specific compliance or mortgage background is required but would be extremely helpful.
The position interacts directly with executive management, State and Federal regulatory personnel and with a staff located across the country. A successful candidate must be proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel as they are used on a regular basis. The compliance officer will handle state licensing, investor finance agreements, weekly reporting, closed loan reviews, and staff compliance training and participate in weekly and monthly teleconferences and meetings.
