RightRides For Women's Safety, Inc.s mission is to empower women and women-identified transgendered individuals to take control of their own personal safety by organizing educational, violence-prevention opportunities and by providing a free, late night ride home service to decrease womens threat of personal attack as they commute to or through high-risk areas.
Basic Function:
* Serve as the central contact for all volunteer inquiries. Work with Board of Directors and Executive Director to determine needs for volunteers and recruit volunteers accordingly.
* Effectively supervise a large volunteer staff. Recruit and screen driving team volunteers, process volunteer applications. Conduct general volunteer meetings, driving team orientations, manage, schedule and assess volunteer participation.
