Financial editors responsibilities will include proofreading and copy editing documents that are produced by the editorial group. These include ratings press releases, servicer evaluations, special reports and lists, and commentary articles. With training, the editor will also publish some of the documents mentioned.
Candidate must have superior editing skills, very high level of attention to detail, and proven ability to edit financial materials online. Must have excellent electronic publishing and interpersonal skills. Must have demonstrated ability to work with standard software programs and master new media. Knowledge of securitization market a plus.
