Vault Inc., the career-related media company behind the popular Vault
Guide to the Top 100 Law Firms, seeks a freelance writer to write profiles of corporations in various industries for Vault web site and book projects.
Candidates should have prior professional writing experience (business writing preferred); freelance experience a plus. The ability to synthesize information from various resources into coherent and readable text without copying directly from other sources is critical.
Familiarity with current national business trends and developments is also a plus.
Must be able to meet strict deadlines and work efficiently without a lot of supervision. Tasks include researching companies and writing detailed entries using a template provided. Must be located in NYC area and willing to work in our offices for at least one week. After that point, telecommuting is entirely possible.
Pay: Flat fee per entry.
