There have been some very astute assessments of "Landmark Converts" here. I did the Forum as a "last resort" in my own life. I could say a lot about what I think about their practices, but mostly it boils down to Oprah-esque "living your best life" kinda bullshit. I actually think that both Oprah and Dr.phil (both of whom I think, think way too highly of themselves) are Landmark Education "hacks". There are also the rumors that Landmark is operated by the Scientologists.
I personally think that both organizations have very shady business practices. I think that Landmark makes very grandiose claims on itself that are misleading (and people who really get into it and follow the principles tend to wind up being the same). And I think that what they in essence try to convince a person of is to not trust or listen to their own emotions (mind you I think this organization preys on those with severe emotional problems to begin with).
